The American Bald Eagle is unique to North America.  The bird is a symbol of our country's courage, freedom, strength, and determination.  These majestic animals are strong, independent, bold, and faithful.  They are SURVIVORS.

Olaha had a rough beginning, falling out of her nest at age 10 weeks.  She sustained permanent injury and is unable to fly, and, as such, cannot be returned to the wild.  The Biophilia Center is proud to have Olaha as an animal Ambassador.  Her regal presence is breathtaking to witness.  You can visit Olaha at the Biophilia Center on our public days - Thursdays and Fridays during the month of July.
