MC Davis and the Special Places He Saved

To our Biophilia friends and family,

As roots and dormant life await the spring season, so too does the Biophilia Center.  We are so happy to finally see students once again visiting our facilities to learn about the local environment.  Our entire spring school schedule is book with in-person visits and scattered virtual meetings throughout the next three months.  As I ponder the world's situation during the pandemic, I wonder, how do some cicadas stay underground for up to 17 years?  One year has been difficult enough to be cooped up!

Welcoming students back is a big step towards some semblance of normalcy for us.  The next step is to bring back our first event for people to enjoy fellowship in nature with the Biophilia family.  I am excited to announce our Easter Eggstravaganza on March 27th.  This will be a Members Only event, so click here to become a member or renew your membership.  Then. register for the event by emailing information@eowilsoncenter.org.  Of course, we will be practicing all COVID safety protocols and procedures, so please keep that in mind when scheduling your visit.  The rumor is that the Easter Bunny might hop in for a visit.

As we move forward with reopening, our summer programs are still an unknown.  We will keep you updated as things progress.

Thanks for your interest and support!

Sincerely,

Paul Arthur
