Friday Public Days — June & July
Discover the wonders of Florida’s wildlife with the year-long Naturalists’ Club! Each month, participants receive a new discovery box featuring hands-on activities, crafts, STEM challenges, and conservation lessons designed to spark curiosity and encourage time outdoors. At the end of the 12-month journey, members are celebrated with a certificate and a special gift.
Summer at the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center is open to everyone! Every Friday in June and July* from 9AM to 2PM, we welcome the public to explore our campus, meet our ambassador animals, and discover the incredible natural world of the Florida Panhandle.
Whether you're a lifelong nature lover or visiting for the very first time, there's something here for every age and every curiosity. Walk our trails through the longleaf pine forest, step inside our interactive exhibits, and experience the kind of hands-on learning that you simply can't get anywhere else.
What to Expect Each visit includes access to our indoor exhibits, trail system, and ambassador animal habitats. Activities and animal interactions vary by day, so every visit is a little different — and there's always something new to discover.

No reservations required — just show up ready to explore! We recommend comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Don't forget sunscreen and a water bottle for the trails.
