Summer at the E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center is open to everyone! Every Friday in June and July* from 9AM to 2PM, we welcome the public to explore our campus, meet our ambassador animals, and discover the incredible natural world of the Florida Panhandle.

Whether you're a lifelong nature lover or visiting for the very first time, there's something here for every age and every curiosity. Walk our trails through the longleaf pine forest, step inside our interactive exhibits, and experience the kind of hands-on learning that you simply can't get anywhere else.

What to Expect Each visit includes access to our indoor exhibits, trail system, and ambassador animal habitats. Activities and animal interactions vary by day, so every visit is a little different — and there's always something new to discover.

No reservations required — just show up ready to explore! We recommend comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Don't forget sunscreen and a water bottle for the trails.

Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes at the Biophilia Center? On Fridays, families can add a guided backstage experience to their visit for an intimate, up-close look at how we care for our ambassador animals and manage our programs. Space is extremely limited — add this experience to your Friday visit when you arrive or book in advance.
